The Globe of the World

Mary Cassini's globe lights up the 36 time-zones of the earth in sequence, beginning and ending at the    International Date Line.  It illustrates how the 3 Minutes World Silence at 11.00 a.m. each January 1st       takes 24 hours to link everyone in the world.

       The World Silence unites people of all races, ideologies and beliefs.  It gives us all a chance to pause and reflect on our global relationship to each other and to our earth.
